Harry's U.S. Visa Under Scrutiny Again After 'Spare' Memoir Revelations

Think Tank Pushes for Reopening of Lawsuit Over Duke's Alleged Preferential Treatment on Visa Application

Harry's immigration status is back in the spotlight as the Heritage Foundation renews its push for transparency regarding his U.S. visa. The conservative think tank has filed a motion to revisit a lawsuit seeking access to the Duke's visa records, following admissions in his memoir Spare about past drug use, including cannabis, cocaine, and psychedelics.

The Heritage Foundation initially sued the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for access to the records, alleging that Harry may have received favourable treatment due to his royal background. Although the request was previously withdrawn, the foundation is now calling for a reconsideration, citing concerns over undisclosed communications between the Biden administration and the judge presiding over the case.

In their recent court filing, the think tank demanded the court "vacate its opinion and order" while unsealing any private correspondence linked to the matter. They argue that efforts to protect Harry's privacy have compromised their ability to present a fair appeal, suggesting there may be evidence of "agency bad faith" in the handling of the case.

The renewed legal push raises questions about whether the Duke’s admissions in Spare should have affected his entry into the U.S., potentially sparking another high-profile immigration debate.
