In a 2016 documentary celebrating Queen Elizabeth’s 90th birthday, Kate recalled her nervousness during a solo visit to Leicester, with Prince William unavailable. Having the Queen by her side boosted her confidence significantly. “The fact she took the time to make sure that I was happy and looked after…just shows how caring she is, really,” Kate shared.
