Rapper denies claims of hiring investigators to follow his wife as legal battle unfolds
Kanye West, 47, has addressed recent accusations concerning his marriage to Bianca Censori, amid reports of their rumoured split and legal troubles. Allegations surfaced this week suggesting that West had hired a private investigator to track Censori while she was travelling abroad and to monitor Kim Kardashian’s family, with whom West shares four children.
However, West’s representatives have strongly denied the claims, calling them "fantastical and false" in a statement to Page Six on October 11. The accusations, which emerged from a lawsuit obtained by Rolling Stone, alleged that West instructed his employee to secretly follow Censori during her solo trip to Australia, without her knowledge.
These legal developments have added fuel to ongoing divorce rumours, with reports claiming that the couple, who married in December 2022, had confided in friends about their separation. Despite the rumours, West and Censori were seen together in Tokyo shortly after, leaving fans uncertain about the state of their relationship.
A source told the Daily Mail, "Kanye and Bianca were responsible for the news of their divorce getting out, as this is what they both told people."
