Sophie Winkleman, wife of Lord Frederick Windsor, has offered rare insights into the cancer battles faced by King Charles and Catherine, the Princess of Wales, during an interview with Hello! magazine. Sophie, who maintains a close relationship with the royal family, praised their bravery and resilience.
Speaking about Catherine, Sophie shared, “She’s wonderful. I last saw her at Wimbledon, and it was so uplifting to see her looking as beautiful as ever." She reassured royal fans, stating that the Princess of Wales has been "amazingly brave and is doing so well" after completing her chemotherapy.
Sophie also spoke candidly about King Charles's ongoing battle with cancer, lauding his unwavering dedication to duty. "Duty and service run through him like a stick of rock; it just doesn’t occur to him to rest, something which those who love him are desperate for him to do," she revealed.
While Catherine has successfully finished her treatment, King Charles continues to receive care, displaying the same determination that Sophie described as "hugely inspirational."
