King Charles and Queen Camilla Cherish Samoa’s Beaches in Memorable Oceania Tour

Royal couple wraps up Oceania visit with heartfelt reflections on Commonwealth ties and joyful memories.

King Charles and Queen Camilla concluded their Oceania tour by creating cherished memories on the sandy beaches of Samoa, marking the end of their journey through Australia and Samoa. The royal couple attended the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) and made numerous public appearances, connecting warmly with local communities and reinforcing ties across the Commonwealth.

As they strolled along Samoa’s scenic shores, the King, 75, and Queen, 77, were all smiles, enjoying a peaceful moment to cap off their busy itinerary. In a heartfelt statement, they expressed gratitude for the unforgettable experiences and friendships formed during the visit.

During the tour, King Charles was honoured with the title "To'aiga-o-Tumua" by the village of Siumu, a symbolic recognition of his connection to the region. The trip also featured lighthearted moments, with photos capturing Queen Camilla laughing and wiping away tears during the CHOGM closing ceremony.

Despite his cancer diagnosis earlier this year, King Charles plans to maintain an active international schedule. A senior palace official shared with GB News that preparations are underway for a full overseas tour program next year, signaling the King’s ongoing commitment to his role on the global stage.
