King Charles and Queen Camilla Unfazed by Harry's Memoir During Royal Tour

Monarch prioritises key Australia and Samoa visit amid 'Spare' re-release

As Harry's memoir Spare is set for paperback release, King Charles and Queen Camilla remain undisturbed by the drama surrounding it, focusing instead on their royal tour of Australia and Samoa. The book will hit shelves in the US on October 22 and in the UK on October 24, coinciding with the couple's important trip, including the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Samoa.

Royal insiders reveal that the King and Queen have made it clear they do not want any mention of Harry or the memoir during their tour. "They don’t want their visit overshadowed by discussions of Spare. It's insignificant to them, and they are concentrating on their royal duties," said a source.

The King, currently pausing his cancer treatment to prioritise the tour, underscores how crucial this visit is for the monarchy. With his focus firmly on the success of the tour, Harry's memoir reportedly isn't even on the monarch’s radar.

Despite potential concerns that the book launch might detract from their royal appearances, the King and Queen are resolute in keeping their attention on the larger responsibilities at hand.
