King Charles Announces Major Rebrand Amid Australia Tour Criticism

Monarch Unveils New Era for The King’s Trust Ahead of Historic Australia Visit

King Charles has introduced a significant change to his long-standing passion project just days before his highly anticipated tour of Australia. The Prince’s Trust, a charitable organisation founded by Charles nearly 50 years ago, has been rebranded as The King’s Trust in the UK, with plans to expand the new name globally by April.

The Trust, which supports young people aged 11 to 30 in gaining employment, education, and training, now boasts a refreshed logo featuring a white crown on a red background and the tagline, "Working for young people." The rebrand, approved by the Privy Council, is part of the King’s continued commitment to empowering the next generation.

James Sommerville, the designer behind the updated logo, expressed his honour in contributing to the King’s beloved project, noting the importance of connecting with young people through modern platforms like TikTok. Chair Alison Brittain described the rebrand as an “exciting new chapter,” reaffirming the Trust’s mission to build confidence and skills in young people across the world.

This announcement comes as King Charles faces criticism from the Australian Republic Movement ahead of his upcoming tour, but the monarch remains focused on advancing his charitable efforts despite the backlash.
