In images published by The Sun, aides were spotted loading the King’s suitcases into the aircraft as he prepared to depart. Queen Camilla, currently on a private break in Singapore, will join Charles during the tour, with the royal couple expected to arrive in Sydney for an official welcome on Friday night.
Buckingham Palace recently released the itinerary for the tour, which marks the King and Queen’s first official visit to Australia this autumn. The royal couple will visit Sydney and Canberra, where they will honour Australians excelling in health, arts, culture, and sports.
