King Charles introduces major change to The Prince's Trust ahead of Australia tour

Monarch celebrates milestone with rebranding of long-standing charity

Just days before embarking on his highly anticipated tour to Australia, King Charles marked a significant milestone in his reign by rebranding his long-established charitable project, The Prince's Trust, to The King's Trust. This change, officially approved by the Privy Council, reflects the evolving legacy of the organisation Charles founded nearly 50 years ago.

The Trust, which has supported young people aged 11 to 30 in areas such as employment, education, and training, has now unveiled its new name and logo. The official Instagram account of The King's Trust shared the announcement, stating, "Today we launch our new name and new look, renewing our commitment to young people."

The King's spokesperson emphasised that the charity remains dedicated to empowering young people worldwide by building their skills for a brighter future. The transformation of the brand was designed by James Sommerville, a former beneficiary of The Trust, who received a grant in 1986 to start his graphic design business.

This major change comes just as King Charles prepares for his upcoming tour of Australia, further underscoring his commitment to fostering opportunities for youth on a global scale.
