Separate Careers and Public Absences Raise Concerns Over Their Unified Brand
Meghan Markle and the Duke of Sussex are reportedly facing difficulties in maintaining their public image as a couple, with both now pursuing individual career paths.
The Duke recently made a solo visit to New York for philanthropic work, sparking questions about Meghan's absence. He is also scheduled to attend the 2024 WellChild Awards in the UK, while Meghan remains in the US, reportedly focused on her own projects.
Royal expert Angela Mollard commented that the couple's vision of becoming a power duo, similar to Barack and Michelle Obama or George and Amal Clooney, seems to have collapsed. She explained, “Instead of being seen as a team, they are now viewed as two individuals pursuing different careers."
Journalist Louise Roberts added, “Brand Sussex as a joint venture is clearly in its final stages."
