Meghan Markle’s Ex-Bodyguard Reveals Her Struggles and Fears Within Royal Life

Duchess Responds to 'Dictator in High Heels' Allegations as Criticism Mounts

An ex-bodyguard who worked closely with Meghan Markle during her time as a senior royal has spoken out about the challenges she faced while carrying out her royal duties.

Steve Davies, who supported Meghan when she first joined the Royal Family, shared his perspective in an interview with Touch Magazine, offering understanding for her circumstances.

He disclosed, "She was always on edge. We were being followed everywhere we went."

Davies also defended Meghan against accusations of bullying her staff—claims both she and Harry have firmly denied.

Describing her as a genuinely “good person” committed to her charitable work, Davies emphasised her dedication to causes ranging from supporting dog walkers to aiding cleaners.

Recently, Meghan has been the subject of fresh criticism, with an article in the Hollywood Reporter labelling her a “dictator in high heels,” amid ongoing allegations regarding her treatment of staff.

In response to these accusations, Meghan discussed her own experiences with bullying, stating that she is among the most bullied individuals globally. While attending a solo event at Girls Inc. of Greater Santa Barbara on October 2, she addressed these issues and helped launch a new digital wellness initiative.
