Former Sussex Residence Could Become Princess Eugenie's Full-Time Family Home
Prince Andrew is reportedly interested in securing Frogmore Cottage for his daughter, in an unexpected twist regarding the former residence of Harry and Meghan Markle, which has sat empty since their eviction.
King Charles is said to have suggested the Duke of York take up residence in the property, which has been vacant for over a year. However, sources reveal that Andrew is not seeking the cottage for himself, but rather for his daughter, their daughters, and their young children.
Princess Eugenie, currently residing at Ivy Cottage while in the UK, has stayed at Frogmore Cottage several times since Harry and Meghan moved to the United States. The property, which underwent a £2.4 million renovation before the Sussexes took residence, could soon become her family's full-time home.
A source revealed that Andrew, facing high upkeep costs at Royal Lodge, is determined to secure a suitable family home for his daughter, adding, "Eugenie and Jack love Frogmore and would like to make it their permanent residence."
