Duke of Sussex ‘revisits the old Harry’ with charity-focused trip
Prince Harry has seemingly sent a strong message to Americans with his solo trip to the UK and South Africa, reminding the public of his life and work before Megxit, according to royal commentator Charlotte Griffiths. Discussing the Duke's decision to travel alone, leaving Meghan Markle and their children in the US, Griffiths noted that Harry appears to be "revisiting the old Harry."
During his return to Lesotho, where he co-founded a children’s charity for those born with AIDS, Griffiths suggested that Harry's trip was a deliberate move to highlight his charitable efforts. “It’s amazing Meghan wasn’t there, but I think it’s very deliberate,” she said.
Griffiths added that the Duke’s solo travels seem aimed at reminding people of who he was before the royal drama, focusing on his positive contributions. She concluded, "Harry really wants to remind people, ‘this was me before, I was a good guy.’”
