Duke of Sussex ready to reconcile with his father after cancer diagnosis
Prince Harry is reportedly prepared to take a significant step to bring joy to his father, King Charles, following the monarch’s cancer diagnosis earlier this year. As Charles approaches his 76th birthday in November, he has expressed a deep desire for family unity, particularly between his sons, Prince William and Harry.
According to sources, the King wishes to "draw a line under past feuds" and see peace restored within the family. “He wants to make lasting memories with his wife, sons, and grandchildren, especially as his milestone birthday nears,” insiders revealed to The Irish Star.
Harry last visited his father in February for a brief 45-minute meeting after receiving news of the diagnosis. However, it’s said to be "weighing heavily on Harry" that he hasn’t seen Charles since. Although the Sussexes have not been invited to the royal family’s traditional Balmoral gathering, Harry is reportedly willing to take bold action to mend their relationship.
As a source told Closer, “Harry knows he must do something significant to make things right with his father, especially as time passes.”
