Prince William’s latest update reveals a documentary inspired by his mother’s legacy will air next week.
Prince William has announced the release of his much-anticipated ITV documentary, Prince William: We Can End Homelessness, a project close to his heart and inspired by his late mother, Princess Diana. The announcement comes shortly after the Prince of Wales made a rare public mention of his younger brother, Prince Harry, recalling their childhood visits to The Passage, a charity for the homeless.
In a social media post featuring behind-the-scenes photos, Prince William’s office shared details about the two-part documentary, set to air next Wednesday and Thursday on ITV and ITVX. The images capture the Prince interacting with people involved in his five-year Homewards project, which aims to make homelessness in the UK “rare, brief, and unrepeated.”
The post reads: “Watch Prince William: We Can End Homelessness this coming Wednesday and Thursday, on @itv and @itvxofficial." It continued, “The documentary follows the first year of @homewardsuk – a programme founded by The Prince and The Royal Foundation that aims to demonstrate it is possible to end homelessness.”
William’s passion for tackling homelessness traces back to his childhood, influenced by his visits with Princess Diana to The Passage. This documentary marks a significant milestone in his efforts to address the issue on a national scale, with heartfelt thanks extended to all who have contributed to the journey so far.
