Prince William has shared a personal celebration following a milestone moment with his favourite football team, Aston Villa, while King Charles and Queen Camilla continue their royal tour in Samoa. The future king took to social media to announce plans with his wife, Catherine, and their three children as they enjoy their October half-term break.
The Prince of Wales, a devoted Aston Villa fan, posted about the team’s recent Champions League success, where they became the first to win three consecutive matches this season, beating Bologna, Bayern Munich, and BSC Young Boys without conceding any goals. William, clearly thrilled, responded to sports commentator Ally McCoist with, “Of course I was watching,” signing the tweet with a “W” to mark it as a personal message.
It’s understood that William enjoyed watching the game with his three children, who joined their enthusiastic father for the match. McCoist, who received an OBE from the Prince, gave him a special shoutout during the game.
Meanwhile, King Charles and Queen Camilla have landed in Apia, Samoa, to continue their historic tour of the Pacific, as the Prince of Wales stays in the UK celebrating quality time with his family.
