Prince William has shared a charming detail about the family's living arrangements, revealing that their cocker spaniel, Orla, regularly shares their bed. This disclosure came during his interaction with a fan and her dog at Duchy College in Cornwall.
The Prince of Wales, during a casual chat with Louise Harland and her dog Jacks, expressed his fondness for their pet, stating, "His little dog sleeps on the bed with them at night, with him and Catherine," according to Hits Radio Cornwall. Harland described William as being "absolutely in love" with her pet, intrigued by its unique breed, a Cockerjack.
Further enhancing the light-hearted exchange, William admired the softness of Jacks' ears and showed great affection towards the animal. Orla, who was introduced to the family by Catherine's brother, James Middleton, has been a significant part of their life, especially after their previous dog, Lupo, passed away in November 2020.
Orla, whose name means "golden princess" in Celtic, was spotlighted in 2022 during a royal birthday portrait of Princess Charlotte. The family shared their affection for Lupo in a heartfelt tribute on social media, emphasizing his central role in their family for nearly a decade.
