Prince William Mentions Brother Prince Harry in Rare Public Tribute

In a surprising moment, Prince William recalls a cherished memory with Prince Harry, hinting at a softening stance.

In a rare gesture, Prince William publicly referenced his estranged brother, Prince Harry, during a clip from his upcoming ITV documentary, Prince William: We Can End Homelessness. The Prince of Wales shared a fond memory of visiting The Passage, a homelessness charity, with their mother, Princess Diana.

“My mother took me to The Passage; she took Harry and I both there,” William recalled in the clip. “I must have been 11 at the time, maybe 10.” Reflecting on the experience, he added, “I had never been to anything like that before, and I was a bit anxious about what to expect.” He recounted how Diana’s warmth and humour put everyone at ease, describing how she “went about her usual, making everyone feel relaxed, having a laugh and joking with everyone.”

The unexpected mention of Harry marks one of the first public acknowledgments of his younger brother in recent years. Reports suggest that William’s softening stance may be due to encouragement from his wife, Kate Middleton. An insider told Closer magazine, “Kate feels strongly that this is Harry’s last chance to make amends and get back into the fold before it’s too late.”

Sources have hinted that both William and King Charles are warming up to the idea of reconciliation, though the future of their relationship remains uncertain.
