Prince William Releases New Video Highlighting Youth and Agricultural Initiatives

Duke of Cornwall champions rural opportunities during visit to Duchy College.

Prince William has released a new video statement as he resumes his royal duties following Catherine’s completion of chemotherapy in September. The Prince of Wales visited Duchy College Stoke Climsland in Cornwall, where he engaged with students and explored the school’s agricultural programmes.

In the video shared by Kensington Palace, William praised the college’s efforts to support young people in rural areas, writing: “The @DuchyCollege does a brilliant job providing opportunities for young people in rural areas to help foster a successful career.” His visit included hands-on participation in various course activities, including crime scene investigation tasks, and discussions about the future of farming.

As Duke of Cornwall, William oversees the royal family's 700-year-old Duchy of Cornwall estate, which spans 130,000 acres and provides significant income for the heir to the throne. Committed to his role, William has already made strides in using Duchy land for philanthropic purposes, such as his Homewards campaign, which focuses on building homes for those in need and ending homelessness.

This visit underscores William’s dedication to fostering opportunities for the next generation and making impactful use of the vast estate under his stewardship.
