Future King breaks silence as Duke of Sussex visits South Africa
Prince William has shared an exciting update about his Earthshot Prize project shortly after his brother, Prince Harry, made an emotional plea during his solo trip to South Africa. Taking to the Prince and Princess of Wales’ social media accounts, William shared heartwarming photos and details about the upcoming Earthshot Prize event in Cape Town, scheduled for November.
“There are just five weeks to go until we’re in Cape Town for the fourth annual @earthshotprize!” William wrote, highlighting some of his favourite moments from past years. These included launching the prize with Sir David Attenborough, attending the 2022 event in Boston, and collaborating with inspiring voices at Earthshot+ in Singapore. He expressed his excitement, saying, “Can’t wait to be in South Africa this November #EarthshotCapeTown.”
William’s update came after Prince Harry, currently in Lesotho for his first visit to Southern Africa in five years, made an emotional plea urging people to "start listening." Harry’s trip is focused on supporting his charity Sentebale, which he co-founded with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho, to help vulnerable children in the region. While the brothers are on separate missions, both are actively engaged in their philanthropic work aimed at making a positive impact.
