Prince William has unveiled more details about his ambitious goal of creating a waste-free world through a new video released in anticipation of the fourth annual Earthshot Prize, set to take place in Cape Town this November.
In collaboration with the Princess of Wales and the Earthshot Prize, the video emphasises the importance of sustainability, showcasing projects aimed at reducing waste. The message is clear: “We choose to build a waste-free world,” where the by-products of one process become the resources for another, mimicking nature’s cycle.
Among the highlighted initiatives are NFW Tech, which replaces plastics with natural-based materials, Keep It Cool App, offering sustainable refrigeration solutions for small farmers, and Ferment’Up, which turns food waste into nutritious ingredients through fermentation.
William previously expressed his enthusiasm for the event, stating, "Can’t wait to be in South Africa this November."
