Royal cleverly conceals pregnancy during recent appearances alongside their daughters
Princess Beatrice, 36, is expecting her second child with husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, Buckingham Palace confirmed on Tuesday. The baby, due in early spring, will join their three-year-old daughter, Sienna, and Edoardo’s eight-year-old son, Wolfie, from a previous relationship.
In recent weeks, Beatrice has managed to keep her pregnancy under wraps by selecting loose-fitting, stylish outfits. At New York Climate Week, she donned a chic tan trench coat, while during an appearance at Haven House Hospice with their daughters, Beatrice wore a navy dress with trumpet sleeves, subtly using fashion to conceal her growing bump.
Beatrice also opted for casual, oversized attire, such as a denim shirt paired with a satin maxi-skirt during a September outing, which allowed her to maintain her privacy until the official announcement.
Accompanying the news were two family photos: one of Sienna walking with her father and brother, and another showing a glowing Beatrice embracing Edoardo. The new baby will be 11th in line to the throne.
The Duchess of York expressed her joy at becoming a grandmother again, while Princess Eugenie celebrated her sister's news on social media, excited for their shared journey through motherhood. Beatrice and Edoardo’s blended family continues to flourish, with Wolfie lovingly referred to by Beatrice as her "bonus son."
