Royal joy as Princess Beatrice announces second pregnancy
Princess Eugenie has publicly celebrated her older sister, Princess Beatrice, after Buckingham Palace announced that Beatrice, 36, is expecting her second child with husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. The couple, who wed in July 2020 at the All Saints Chapel in Windsor, are already parents to their three-year-old daughter, Sienna.
Following the royal baby news, Princess Eugenie, 34, shared her excitement on social media. Reposting the official announcement on her Instagram story, Eugenie added a playful touch with a GIF before posting two photos from a family beach outing during Christmas 2022. Captioning the images, Eugenie wrote: "Congratulations Beabea... So looking forward to more on this journey of motherhood together. And adding another little one to the gang."
Eugenie’s heartfelt message follows a loving statement from their mother, Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, who expressed her joy at becoming a grandmother again. She praised Beatrice for her growth as a mother and shared her excitement for the new addition to the family.
The growing royal family is eagerly anticipating the arrival of the new baby, due in early spring, who will be a sibling to both Sienna and Wolfie, Edoardo’s son from a previous relationship.
