The nine-year-old expresses a caring career ambition, says insider
Despite her royal status, Charlotte has reportedly shared her ambition to pursue a career in nursing. The nine-year-old has expressed interest in this path, according to sources close to the family.
A palace insider revealed that, though still young, her parents, William and Catherine, are proud of her compassionate nature and determination. Charlotte's fascination with nursing has grown, in part, due to William introducing her and her brothers to the essential role of the NHS.
Ingrid Seward, editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine, noted that Charlotte’s responsible behaviour towards her younger siblings, her brothers, demonstrates her nurturing personality. She has often been seen guiding them on how to behave in public.
Seward further suggested that Charlotte’s admiration for the nurses who supported her mother may be influencing her career dreams. If she were to pursue this path, Seward believes it could see her emerge as a “princess for the people,” in a way reminiscent of her late grandmother, Diana.
William and Catherine continue to foster a grounded upbringing for their children, encouraging humility and responsibility, rather than a sense of entitlement.
While Charlotte's future remains uncertain, she may follow a path similar to her great-aunt, Princess Anne, while her older brother, George, is second in line for the throne, and Louis may consider royal duties in the future.
