Royal expert Ingrid Seward told Fabulous Magazine that Meghan may find the timing of Beckham’s announcement frustrating. “I’m sure she would have been furious because she likes to be in control. Victoria pipping her to the post might not sit well with her,” Seward said.
However, the biographer added that Meghan would be careful to keep her feelings under wraps. “She knows she can’t show her annoyance publicly. She’d have to put on a magnanimous front, praising Victoria and her achievements. Anything else would be a grave mistake, and Meghan is savvy enough to realise that.”
