Beatrice Embraces Quiet Life with Friends Amid Financial Strain on Father Prince Andrew
Princess Beatrice, expecting her second child, has reportedly taken a step back from public life, spending more time in the countryside following King Charles’ decision to cut her father Prince Andrew’s royal allowance.
Close friend Gabriela Peacock, also expecting, shared that Beatrice has found solace in their friendship during this time. Peacock, who lives near Beatrice in the Cotswolds, said, “I’m so excited for Beatrice, and it’s really fun to share this journey with her. We’ve been exchanging pregnancy tips and enjoying the quiet life together.”
The Princess’s rural retreat is complemented by her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi’s busy travel schedule. In a recent Financial Times interview, he revealed that his work often takes him across Europe, leaving him away from Beatrice and their daughter, Sienna.
Beatrice, who announced her pregnancy in October, shared that her friendship with Peacock has been a source of strength, saying, “Gabriela and I have always been open with each other about health and wellness, and now we’re navigating motherhood and pregnancy together.”
