Concerns rise as intruders target royal property near the Wales family’s residence.
Prince William and Princess Catherine are reportedly alarmed following a security breach at Windsor Castle, where masked men entered the property while the family was sleeping nearby.
According to The Sun, two intruders scaled a six-foot fence during the night and targeted farm vehicles stored on the estate. Former Scotland Yard detective Mike Neville told GB News that the Prince and Princess of Wales “will be very concerned,” given the potential threat posed by the incident.
“These men targeted farm vehicles, but their presence near the family’s residence is deeply troubling,” Neville explained.
He also suggested a “major meeting” would take place at Thames Valley Police to reassess security measures. “This is not just about stolen vehicles; it’s about ensuring the safety of two future kings under one roof,” Neville emphasised.
Despite the Wales family’s desire to maintain a semblance of normalcy, the detective noted, “They are high-profile targets, and this incident underscores the constant risk they face.”
The security breach has prompted a significant review of protective protocols to safeguard the Royal Family against future threats.
