This birthday is particularly significant as it marks Charles’ first since revealing his cancer diagnosis earlier this year. Despite undergoing ongoing treatment, the King has continued to fulfill many of his public duties.
Born on November 14th, 1948, King Charles typically celebrates his official birthday in June with the Trooping the Colour parade. However, reports suggest that the monarch plans to treat his actual birthday as a regular day, carrying on with his scheduled engagements.
In addition, Charles will use the occasion to highlight the first anniversary of his Coronation Food Project, a charitable initiative aimed at distributing surplus food to support organizations like FareShare and the Felix Project, helping communities most in need.
