Prince William and Catherine are set for another brief separation as the Prince of Wales embarks on an exciting journey to South Africa for the Earthshot Prize 2024 celebrations. William shared his enthusiasm with followers, expressing his eagerness for the upcoming events and meaningful connections awaiting him.
In a video posted on the Prince and Princess of Wales’s Instagram Story, William revealed, “Such an exciting few days ahead. It's Earthshot Week! We celebrate this year's 15 new Finalists and award five new winners.” He highlighted the significance of the Earthshot Fellowship Retreat, where the finalists have been building connections and sharing ideas to address global challenges.
The Prince, now in Cape Town, emphasized his excitement in his first statement from South Africa, saying, “We can't wait to share it with you.”
Princess Catherine will remain in the UK as William is joined by prominent figures, including German-American model Heidi Klum and Canadian actress Nina Dobrev, who are set to participate in the Earthshot Awards ceremony alongside the Prince.
