Speculation of a Royal Olive Branch Fades as Prince William Prioritises Catherine’s Well-being Over Reconciliation with Harry
In a recent television appearance, Prince William referenced a special childhood memory with Harry, sparking rumours of a potential reconciliation. During his ITV documentary Prince William: We Can End Homelessness, he recalled visiting homeless shelters with their late mother, Princess Diana, sharing how these experiences shaped his current work with Homewards.
Despite these remarks, royal expert Angela Levin dismissed speculation of a royal olive branch. According to Levin, William’s mention of Harry was merely factual and not indicative of renewed relations. In her interview with GB News, Levin explained, “William simply stated Harry’s presence in that memory because it was part of the story.”
Levin further shared that William’s focus remains on supporting his wife, Catherine, who is reportedly still recovering. “He’s extremely protective of her,” Levin said, adding that William’s anger toward Harry has kept him from seeking reconciliation. “He was absolutely furious with Harry, and the best way to manage that is by keeping his distance,” she concluded.
