York Sisters Plan to Confront King Charles Over Treatment of Prince Andrew
Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are reportedly frustrated with King Charles as tensions rise over the ongoing Royal Lodge dispute involving their father, Prince Andrew.
The feud centres on the 30-room Windsor mansion, with Charles initially planning to evict Andrew. However, the Duke of York secured his place by demonstrating “legitimate sources” of income.
According to a source who spoke to Express UK, Beatrice and Eugenie feel the Palace is manipulating public perception by using them to project unity. “The sisters believe they’re being portrayed as symbols of harmony, but behind the scenes, it’s a different story,” the insider revealed.
The York sisters, neither of whom are working royals, reportedly view the Lodge issue as a family matter. They are said to have rallied around Andrew, holding meetings with their mother, Sarah Ferguson, to support his position.
“Royal Lodge is not just an Andrew issue; it’s seen as a York family problem. Beatrice, Eugenie, and Sarah are all chipping in to resolve it,” the source said.
Beatrice, who is expecting her second child, and Eugenie, who resides in Portugal, have maintained low profiles to avoid further negative press about their father. Despite this, Beatrice is said to be leading the charge, described as “extremely loyal” and determined to protect their family.
The tension between King Charles and Prince Andrew has been building for years, exacerbated by Andrew’s association with Jeffrey Epstein and subsequent scandals that led to him losing his royal titles, patronages, and £3 million annual allowance.
Despite these setbacks, Andrew’s finances have reportedly allowed him to maintain his lease on Royal Lodge. Beatrice and Eugenie are committed to shielding their family from further controversy while also seeking independence from royal constraints.
“They won’t let their family face any more negative press. Beatrice has taken charge, ensuring their father is supported while striving to build a life beyond these challenges,” the insider concluded.
