Sussexes Introduce Rescue Beagle Mamma Mia Alongside Rare Family Snap
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have delighted fans with their Christmas card, offering a heartwarming glimpse into their family life. The card features their children, Archie and Lilibet, alongside their three dogs, including the first proper reveal of their newest family member, Mamma Mia.
The nine-year-old rescue beagle joined the Sussex family two years ago after being saved from an animal testing facility that was shut down. Adopted through the California-based Beagle Freedom Project, Mamma Mia found her forever home with Meghan and Harry. Shannon Keith, who runs the project, shared that Meghan personally reached out to adopt the beagle and visited the shelter with Harry to meet Mia and her puppies.
The couple’s public Christmas card reflects their love for animals and their growing family. While this version is intended for professional use, a private card has been sent to close family and friends, preserving a touch of holiday intimacy.
