Sussex Family Celebrates Christmas with Intimate Montecito Gathering
Meghan Markle has offered a rare glimpse into her festive celebrations with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet as the Sussex family enjoyed an intimate Christmas at their Montecito home.
Marking their sixth Christmas away from the royal family, Harry and Meghan embraced personalised traditions, creating a magical experience for their young children. Meghan revealed during an Archwell charity event last month that she cherishes watching her children discover the “magic” of the holidays.
One beloved tradition includes leaving “carrots for the reindeer,” an activity that has become a favourite for Archie and Lilibet. “Every single holiday is a new adventure,” Meghan shared, adding that she hopes her children connect special recipes and moments to lasting memories.
The Sussexes were joined by Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, for the celebrations, making the occasion even more meaningful. Meanwhile, the royal family observed their traditional festivities at Sandringham.
The update also coincided with the release of the Sussexes’ 2024 Christmas card, offering a rare public glimpse of the children, albeit photographed from behind for privacy. A second, private card is believed to have been shared with close friends and family.
Through these personal touches, Meghan and Harry continue to forge unique traditions for their growing family while maintaining their ties to cherished values.
