Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Emotional Christmas Wish for King Charles

Sussexes Long for Family Reunion Amid Continued Royal Rift

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have expressed a heartfelt wish for a family reunion this Christmas, despite not receiving an invitation from the royal family to join the celebrations at Sandringham.

An insider revealed to OK! that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had hoped to celebrate the festive season with their loved ones but have come to terms with the reality that a reunion is unlikely. “They both really wish that they could have all their families together for Christmas, but they know that will never happen,” the source said.

Instead, Harry and Meghan are focusing on creating new traditions and cherished memories with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The couple is particularly excited about the festive season as Archie and Lilibet, now fully understanding the magic of Christmas, have been eagerly talking about Santa and the holidays for weeks.

“This year feels special because both children fully ‘get it,’” the insider shared, adding that the family plans to embrace the holiday spirit together at their Montecito home.

The Sussexes, who last spent Christmas with King Charles, Prince William, and Catherine in 2018, continue to navigate their estranged relationship with the royal family while building their own festive traditions in the United States.
