Duke of Sussex Plans Solo UK Visit Amid Speculations of Reconciliation
Prince Harry and Prince William’s estranged relationship has drawn fresh attention as a mutual friend shared rare insights into the possibility of a reconciliation between the royal siblings in 2025.
Reports suggest the brothers, who have not spoken in years, may yet find common ground, especially with Harry planning a visit to the UK next year. However, nothing has been officially confirmed.
Tommy Severn, former captain of Polo England and a mutual friend of the princes, commented on their strained ties in an interview with The Daily Mail. Reflecting on Harry’s decision to exclude his formative polo years from his recent Netflix documentary, Severn remarked, “I’ve no idea! I think Harry’s cut ties so if he came back now, he’d look like an idiot.”
Despite this blunt assessment, Severn did not rule out the possibility of Harry’s return to the UK or even a thaw in relations with William. “William might help him because they were close – that’s the brothers’ bond,” he said.
Prince Harry’s upcoming travel plans remain under scrutiny as he faces criticism for his recent projects and contemplates his next move. Whether the Duke’s return could pave the way for reconciliation with his brother or further strain their ties remains uncertain.
As the royal family continues to navigate its challenges, the world will be watching to see if 2025 brings a long-awaited reunion for the two brothers.
