Duke’s Claims Against Queen Camilla Face Backlash as Royal Tensions Escalate
Prince Harry has sparked fresh outrage within royal circles following accusations against Queen Camilla in his memoir and public remarks. The Duke of Sussex has alleged that Camilla leaked negative stories about him and Meghan Markle, reigniting tensions within the family.

Responding to a recent Channel 4 documentary, Queen Camilla: The Wicked Stepmother?, royal author A.N. Wilson criticised Harry's "paranoid accusations," dismissing them as baseless and unfair. Writing for The Mail, Wilson argued that the Royal Family, known for its complex dynamics and leaks, does not warrant Camilla being singled out.
Wilson highlighted Camilla’s contributions to the monarchy, praising her resilience and dedication during King Charles’s health challenges, including his cancer treatment. He noted that Camilla, ranked as the sixth hardest-working royal with 95 engagements this year, has garnered respect for her humour, common sense, and public service.
Once vilified as the “most hated woman in Britain” during Charles’s divorce from Princess Diana, Camilla has earned admiration for her steadfastness and decency. Despite recent health issues, including a chest infection that caused her to miss the Royal Variety Performance, Camilla continues to fulfil her royal duties with commitment.
