Royals’ Focused Approach Earns Praise Ahead of Annual Carol Service
Princess Kate and Prince William’s dedication to fewer charities is making a significant difference, with royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams praising their targeted approach as more impactful than traditional widespread royal patronage.
Speaking ahead of the Princess of Wales’s fourth annual Together At Christmas carol service at Westminster Abbey, Fitzwilliams commended Kate’s heartfelt message, which encourages love, compassion, and unity during the festive season.
In her letter, Kate highlighted the importance of cherishing meaningful connections and taking time to reflect. “This is the fourth carol service that she will have organised,” Fitzwilliams noted, emphasising the event’s wide-reaching impact. The service will be linked to 15 centres across the UK and broadcast globally on Christmas Eve, spreading its uplifting message to millions.
Fitzwilliams also applauded Kate’s relatable approach during challenging times, adding, “She conveys empathy and hope in her initiatives, making her relatable to people facing hardships.”
The royal commentator praised Prince William and the Middleton family for their support, describing them as “unsung heroes” in Kate’s journey. He highlighted the couple’s deliberate strategy of supporting fewer charities, which allows them to focus their efforts and achieve greater results. “They do so much more for the ones they are attached to, creating a bigger impact,” Fitzwilliams explained.
The Together At Christmas service, scheduled for December 6, will feature the Prince and Princess of Wales and other members of the Royal Family, showcasing their commitment to meaningful and impactful charitable contributions.
