Meghan Markle Advised to Quit Social Media Amid New Project Launch

Prince Harry urged to rethink social media strategy as Meghan faces challenges ahead of cookery show release.

Meghan Markle has been urged to step back from social media following her unexpected Instagram return, as experts warn of potential backlash ahead of her upcoming cookery show, With Love, Meghan, set to premiere on March 4.

The Duchess of Sussex, who rejoined the platform with the handle @meghan, shared the trailer for her show, which was postponed due to the California wildfires. However, PR expert Fiona Minett believes Meghan’s social media activity could place her in a "very difficult predicament."

Speaking to Express UK, Minett explained, “It is a very tricky situation for Meghan, potentially of her own making. Departing from her usual ‘drop and run’ promotional approach may open her up to criticism she could have avoided.”

Minett added, “Given that her posts often attract immense attention and backlash, Meghan’s social media presence places her in a tough spot, where she’s likely torn between managing her image and promoting her projects.”

The Duchess, 43, has typically avoided regular social media posts for her ventures since stepping back from royal duties in 2020. Minett suggested that Netflix should handle the promotional efforts for her show to mitigate risks.

Despite these concerns, Prince Harry is reportedly standing by Meghan, offering unwavering support for her projects and endeavors. As With Love, Meghan gears up for release, the couple’s strategy for navigating public attention remains under scrutiny.
