The Queen Consort honours her hairdresser and facialist with Royal Warrants for decades of dedicated service.
Queen Camilla has awarded Royal Warrants of Appointment to two essential members of her beauty team, recognising their exceptional contributions to her style and skincare over the years.
The prestigious honour was presented to Jo Hansford, Camilla’s hairdresser for over 30 years, and Deborah Mitchell, her facialist of 18 years. These Royal Warrants, traditionally granted by senior royals, highlight the excellence of goods and services endorsed by the royal family.
Jo Hansford expressed her gratitude in an interview with The Times, saying, “I’m proud to have her as a client for more than three decades. It is particularly wonderful that the Queen has awarded it to an all-female-owned and run business. It really shows that, with grit and determination, you can achieve truly incredible things.”
Deborah Mitchell shared insights into the Queen Consort’s skincare routine, which includes her renowned “bee venom and collagen facials.” She explained, “I handmake the products and do her treatments as well. Her new favourite is collagen drops, which you drink, and she is still using the bee venom.”
This marks the first time Queen Camilla has personally endorsed a royal warrant, further underscoring her appreciation for her trusted glam team. The awards not only celebrate their expertise but also their integral role in helping Camilla maintain her poised and polished royal image.
