Sarah Ferguson has shared an emotional video message expressing her growing concerns for her daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, as they navigate modern pressures.
Posting on Instagram during "Blue Monday," often described as the most challenging day of the year, the Duchess of York encouraged people to check in on loved ones and embrace the joyful moments in life.
Filmed in Derry, Sarah said, "On this Blue Monday, let us remember the power of connection." In the caption accompanying the video, she added, "A quick and simple check-in with a friend can make all the difference and remind them that they’re not alone. We are all stronger together!"
This message follows Sarah’s candid comments about her daughters' well-being in the digital age. Speaking to The Times, she admitted, "You worry about them all the time. I still do now, even when they’re adults."
The Duchess also criticised the harmful effects of social media on young people, describing it as a “cesspit” and adding, "It’s very frightening what young people are exposed to."
