Royal expert dispels speculation of permanent move to Australia for Zara and Mike Tindall
Zara Tindall and her husband Mike have shed light on their future plans amidst reports of Princess Anne making an emotional plea to King Charles for her children.
Known for their love of horse racing, the couple recently spent much of January in Australia attending the Magic Millions Racecourse, sparking speculation about a possible permanent relocation. However, royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams has dismissed these rumours, suggesting the Tindalls are content with their current lifestyle.
“I wouldn’t have thought they’d move permanently,” Fitzwilliams stated. “They’ve found a balance that works for them, and they’re independent enough to maintain it.”
Unlike working royals, Zara and Mike enjoy the freedom to pursue their own interests without the constraints of official roles. “There’s nothing specific tying them down, but they’re not working royals, so they can make their own choices,” Fitzwilliams added.
These remarks follow a Radar Online report claiming Princess Anne urged King Charles, who has faced recent health challenges, to consider granting royal titles to Zara and Peter Phillips.
While titles remain a topic of discussion, Zara and Mike appear focused on maintaining their independent lives, blending their passion for travel with family responsibilities, and staying rooted in their unique royal-adjacent roles.
