Carole Middleton Hailed as ‘Rock’ for Princess Catherine During Cancer Battle

Royal expert praises Middleton matriarch for unwavering support to her daughter and the royal family

Carole Middleton has been recognised for her unwavering support of Princess Catherine, earning praise as the “rock” who provided strength and stability to the future Queen during her cancer journey.

The Middleton matriarch played a vital role in caring for Catherine, Prince William, and their children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—during what has been described as one of the most challenging years of their lives.

Renowned royal commentator Ingrid Seward shared her admiration for Carole in an interview with Hello! Magazine, stating: “I have met her a couple of times, and the word that keeps coming back to me is ‘strength.’ I imagine her as a sort of pioneer woman, driving a wagon with a rifle at her feet and three children in the back, fighting off any enemy. That’s what she’s been doing all her life, isn’t it?”

Seward described Carole as a “helpful, practical, and unflappable mum and grandmother,” revealing that she took on key responsibilities while Prince William resumed royal duties. “She was doing the school run and probably filling the freezer with the kids’ favourite foods,” she noted.

With Carole ensuring stability at home, Catherine was able to “relax”, knowing her family was in safe hands. Seward also spoke about William’s deep bond with the Middletons, stating: “He just adores the Middletons. They give him the cosy family life that Diana always wanted him to have.”

As Catherine continues her recovery, Carole’s steadfast presence remains a testament to her love, strength, and devotion to both her daughter and the future of the monarchy.
