Reality Star Reflects on Emotional Challenges and Moving Forward
Kim Kardashian has shared a candid reflection on the difficulties she faced following her divorce from Kanye West, revealing the emotional toll of their split.
In the latest episode of The Kardashians, the 44-year-old reality star spoke about the unexpected challenges that came with the end of her marriage.
“That’s the hardest part. I’ve been there,” she admitted.
Discussing how Kanye’s personality changed over time, Kim explained, “When you don’t foresee something happening that really changes a person’s personality and then they’re not the same person, you can’t ever get that person back—but you also can’t live with the new person. I get it.”
In a confessional, the SKIMS founder opened up about how the circumstances surrounding her divorce made it even harder to move on.
“It’s tougher when you don’t want your marriage to end for personal reasons, but circumstances force it to. When that’s not the outcome you wanted, but there’s no other option, it makes it harder to get over,” she shared.
Kim also addressed another struggle—dealing with Kanye’s social media outbursts.
“He has been spreading a lot of misinformation regarding our private family matters and co-parenting, which has created emotional distress,” she revealed.
Despite wishing their marriage could have worked, Kim admitted she has now accepted reality.
“While I wish our marriage would have succeeded, I have come to the realization that there is no way to repair it,” she concluded.
Kim and Kanye were married from 2014 to 2022 and share four children.
