Buckingham Palace Releases Monarch's Message Amid Invictus Games Update
Buckingham Palace has shared a significant update on King Charles shortly after Harry reunited with European royals at the Invictus Games 2025.
The King's office released new images from his recent visit to SeAH Wind in Middlesbrough, marking National Apprenticeship Week. The visit highlighted the factory's contribution to the offshore wind turbine manufacturing sector, focusing on welding and heavy engineering skills crucial for constructing wind turbine monopiles.
A statement from the Palace explained, "The monopile, a vital component of offshore wind turbines, measures 120 metres in length, 15.5 metres in diameter, and weighs up to 4,500 tonnes."
The spokesperson added that King Charles toured the facility, which produces up to four monopiles a week. During his visit, he met with equipment operators and construction apprentices from @middlesbroughcollege and @hartlepoolfe, along with personnel from @k2_construction.
This latest message from King Charles comes just after Harry was seen reconnecting with Prince Joachim of Denmark and Princess Marie during a volleyball game at the Invictus Games. The meeting marked a notable moment, given Harry’s limited interactions with royal figures in recent years.
