The Duke of Sussex’s US immigration case, which was closed five months ago, has been reopened, sparking renewed speculation about his status in the country. Amid discussions about potential deportation, former US President Donald Trump dismissed the idea, stating, “I’ve got enough problems with his terrible wife.”
Royal expert Hillary Fordwich told Fox News Digital that King Charles is keen to keep public attention away from Harry and Meghan, especially given the unpredictable political climate. “The King is and has always been conflict averse,” she explained, adding that Charles hopes Harry “remains out of sight and out of mind.”
With the King focused on his cancer recovery and royal duties, sources claim it would be a “relief” if Harry stayed in California, as noted by Daily Mail’s Richard Eden.
However, the Duke of Sussex is preparing to return to the UK for his ongoing legal battle against the Home Office over police security. While the case is expected to attract media attention, Charles reportedly wants his son to avoid stirring further controversy during his visit.
