Monarch’s Potential Visit Raises Speculation Over Grandchildren’s Reunion
King Charles is reportedly preparing for the most significant royal tour of his reign, with a major visit to the United States on the horizon—potentially disrupting Prince Harry’s efforts to keep his children, Archie and Lilibet, distanced from their grandfather.
According to The Mirror, a government insider shared, “This will undoubtedly be the biggest tour of the King’s reign so far, a huge undertaking for a British monarch to be hosted in the United States.”
The tour is expected to align with the US celebrations of its 250th anniversary of independence in 2026, during which Charles is set to meet former President Donald Trump.
Additionally, reports indicate that the King is also eager to visit Canada, a country he holds in high regard. “It will be a charm offensive on both sides,” an insider added.
While Buckingham Palace has denied any confirmed travel plans, sources suggest that if the King does visit the US, he may take the opportunity to reunite with his grandchildren, fulfilling a long-held desire despite tensions within the family.
