Meghan Markle Faces Fresh Setback as King Charles’ Aide Criticizes Brand Relaunch

Duchess of Sussex reportedly scrambles after new brand faces fresh controversies

Meghan Markle is reportedly dealing with a new challenge as her latest decision regarding her lifestyle brand has stirred fresh trouble. The Duchess of Sussex recently unveiled the rebranded name, As Ever, after her previous brand faced a trademark lawsuit that delayed its launch.

However, just as Meghan believed the controversies were behind her, two more brands with the same name surfaced. Additionally, the brand's logo was criticised for resembling the historic coat of arms of Porreres, a town in Mallorca, Spain.

Grant Harrold, King Charles’ former butler, weighed in on the situation, suggesting that Meghan had to rush the rebrand. Speaking to CheatSheet, Harrold said, "I think the reason she has done this is because she had to have a quick rethink and just decided to go with something that she already had."

He added, "It is nothing unusual; this happens in business all the time. I am guessing she probably would have rather had ‘American Riviera’ though."

Harrold further noted that the original brand name seemed to reflect Meghan’s career prior to joining the royal family. "It is very much signifying to my mind that she will be going back to doing what she was before meeting Harry, from a business point of view," he explained.

Reports suggest that Meghan may have been racing against the clock to relaunch her Sussex brand, potentially leading to the oversight of these latest issues.
