Duchess of Sussex Expresses Support for Harry as He Stays in Canada for Invictus Games
Meghan Markle has provided a rare update on Archie, five, and Lilibet, three, after returning to California while Prince Harry remains in Canada for the remainder of the Invictus Games.
The Duchess of Sussex left Vancouver on Wednesday, having attended the opening days of the event to support Harry. Reports suggest her early departure was preplanned to ensure she could reunite with their children in Montecito.
“A taste of Canada and The Invictus Games for our little ones! Cheering you on from home!” Meghan shared, reflecting on her time at the Games.
During their visit, Harry and Meghan received personalised gifts from Team Nigeria, including custom jerseys for themselves and their children. Meghan made sure the special items, given with love, were sent home to Archie and Lilibet.
“We did one for him and one for M and for the kids,” Nigerian team manager Derrick Cobbinah told People Magazine. “They said they would be excited to have them. She was very, very excited.”
It remains uncertain whether Meghan will return for the closing ceremony in Canada, as details of her travel plans are being kept private for security reasons.
