Duchess of Sussex Shares Love for Indian Cuisine During Canadian Outing
Meghan Markle made a surprising revelation about her pregnancy cravings while on tour in Canada for the Invictus Games with her husband, Prince Harry.
Following a busy first day at the Games, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex joined friends Michael Bublé and his wife, Luisana, for a relaxed dinner at Vij’s, a well-known Indian restaurant in downtown Vancouver.
During their visit, head chef Vikram Vij shared an interesting detail with Hello! magazine, revealing that Meghan had a strong preference for Indian cuisine during her pregnancies with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
“Meghan said that during her pregnancy, she had eaten only Indian food, and I told her it was the best thing for her!” Vikram recalled, while also praising the royal couple as “amazing, extremely beautiful, and very friendly.”
The Duchess’ comment mirrors past reports that Catherine, the Princess of Wales, also developed a fondness for Indian cuisine during her first pregnancy, highlighting a shared appreciation for its rich and aromatic flavors.
