Speculation grows as reports claim Meghan is preparing for life post-separation
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s marriage is under renewed scrutiny following fresh allegations, with reports suggesting the Duchess of Sussex is considering a "divorce deal" as the Duke of Sussex prepares for a UK return.
According to RadarOnline, Meghan's team is allegedly exploring the possibility of a tell-all book about her "post-divorce" life, despite the couple remaining legally married. An insider claimed: "Meghan has made it clear that if and when they do split, she would demand a hefty settlement and to keep her royal title."
Sources further alleged that Meghan is unwilling to walk away without a title, property, and significant financial compensation. She has reportedly instructed her legal team to negotiate a divorce settlement that could rival Sarah Ferguson's from Prince Andrew.
Speculation about the Sussexes' relationship has grown, with suggestions they have been living increasingly separate lives—Harry dedicating himself to humanitarian efforts while Meghan focuses on her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard.
A source remarked: "They are closely watched every step they make – criticised and chastised – and the pressures have become unbearable."
However, Harry has publicly dismissed divorce rumours, joking at the 2024 DealBook Summit in New York: "Apparently, we've divorced maybe 10, 12 times," in an effort to brush off the speculation.
